Avery Standard is an oil painter living and working in Montgomery County, Texas.

A self taught artist, he has be drawing since childhood. In 2021, he began painting which has become his primary medium. Since then, his focus has been American landscapes, aviation and more recently, horses. Avery's style draws from the airiness and mood of tonalism, while still maintaining a certain level of expressive color and spontaneity.
