Thanks for your interest!

If you’re thinking of commissioning an art piece, please send me an email with the appropriate contact information and I will make a reservation for you. You may also call or text.

How much does it cost?

Pricing for commissioned work changes with scene complexity and materials used. As a general rule, small commissions can cost between $100 and $400 while larger works usually fall between $500-$1500. Here are some pricing examples to give an idea.

11 x 14 - $150

16 x 20 - $290

20 x 30 - $625

After a consultation and approval, a non-refundable 50% down payment will be made to secure your commission. The remaining fees are paid when the piece is finished and ready for delivery.

How long does it take?

Turnaround times vary by size, and current schedule. Small projects finish in 3–6 weeks while large pieces can take 8-12 weeks.

Can you work from photos?

I can work from photos, though I prefer to do my own sketching and photography. Cameras, while helpful, can make subtle distortions to the shape and lighting of your subject (especially in portraits). Because of this, some photographs might not be suitable for reference.

What materials are used?

I use only professional quality pigments on stable surfaces. This ensures the artwork will last for as long as possible. Small paintings can be done on smooth panels, while larger pieces are painted on lightweight canvas or Belgian Linen. Most of my paintings are protected with a varnish that can be removed and replaced if the need arises. Along with your art piece, you will receive a preservation guide to help keep your painting in good condition.
